APoS field equipment without the capital purchase

For short-term China projects, your team does not need to purchase a complete survey kit. Depending on the agreed scope, we can provide or arrange compatible access points, a tripod, portable power, and Ekahau Sidekick 2 measurement equipment.

Our engineer brings and operates the agreed equipment, captures the onsite measurements, and delivers the agreed survey records in English.
Equipment Rental or Loan
Where appropriate, we can arrange agreed survey equipment for your team's use in China instead of requiring a one-off purchase.

Equipment availability, city, dates, target AP and antenna, installation height, software licensing, and delivery or return arrangements are confirmed during scoping. For the highest confidence, the survey should use the same AP model and antenna planned for production.

What is an APoS (AP-on-a-Stick) survey?

An APoS survey places a temporary access point at a proposed location and height so the team can measure the real RF environment before final AP installation. It is useful for new deployments and higher-risk placement decisions.

What is the difference between an Active WiFi Survey and an APoS Survey?

An Active WiFi Survey measures an operating wireless network to identify or validate real performance. An APoS Survey validates proposed AP positions before the final wireless network is installed.

Do we need to purchase APoS survey equipment in China?
